Miguel dropped by Angie Martinez’s In-Studio segment last night to preview his forthcoming album Kaleidoscope Dream (that hit store shelves this morning!). The R&B heartthrob opened up to Angie about intimate and quirky details of his personal life. With his odd orange juice/Colt 45 drink in tow, the singer spoke candidly of his “obsession” with women, his fondness for photography, and the visual inspiration behind some his sexiest tracks.
While the interview mainly focused on his music, Miguel took a moment to comment on Frank Ocean’s public confession of his bisexuality earlier this year. Lending support for Frank’s music and his decision to come out, Miguel had this to say:
“I don’t care what his sexual orientation is. I have gay friends, I have straight friends. I think anybody who’s so concerned about somebody’s sexuality is concerned with finding a relationship with them. At the end of the day, it’s always about the music. It’s always about the art. Nothing should ever trump, or be more important than the music.”
