 Fresh on the heels of Lil Wyte‘s album Still Doubted? which hit Billboard’s Top 25 Rap albums in July, Wyte Music Records is set to release $hamrock‘s sophomore album Money Green onSeptember 4, 2012 in conjunction withSelect-O-Hits.

Before Love and Hip Hop ATL became a VH1 smash hit, $hamrock represented the network’s resident Atlanta reality star, taking home the $100,000 prize for 2007′sThe White Rapper Show.
Subsequent TV cameos, national magazine appearances and work with notable acts such as B.o.B., led to $hamrock’s Tha WyteRapper $howalbum, which hit stores in March 2011.
$hamrock’s latest offering, the 14-track Money Green LP, showcases even more work with his favorite A-town cohorts in addition to a handful of Memphis, Tennessee’s most notable lyricists and promising talent.
“I worked with some legends on this one, and it shows,” explains $hamrock. “The music has a timeless Southern vibe to it, but all the production is ahead of it’s time. The most important aspect of my songwriting is to stay consistent by giving that classic rap that I grew up on, but still showing growth as an artist.”
Lil Wyte makes multiple appearances on the project; along with Academy Award-winningFrayser Boy; horror-core legend Lord Infamous; and Wyte Music artists Partee, Miscellaneous and Thug Therapy.
Production duties are handled by Wyte Music’s resident beatmaker Big BOI Beats, with additional placements by Luney Tunez (Future, Gucci Mane), Ribah On The Beat (B.o.B.),Lex Luger (Rick Ross, Kanye West/Jay-Z) and The Avengerz.
“I feel as though so many fans have yet to experience my music,” says $hamrock. “They may know me from VH1 and may have heard a couple of my songs, but I know that I’ve got a lot more to give them. Money Green represents a new phase in my career, and offers more insight into my artistry.”
