DaPromiseChild “DPC” started his musical journey at the age of 4. He took piano lessons from age 4 to age 8. Growing up as a musical child prodigy, he taught himself how to play, write, and compose music for the R&B, Jazz, Gospel, and Bluegrass genres. Learning from the sounds of Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Peabo Bryson, and numerous Gospel artists, DPC developed an intellectual ear for the sound of music. Around the age of 10 years old, he taught himself how to sing by singing for his local church. Shy at first, DPC progressed into his God-Given-Gift of music and song, and made a name for himself at his home church in North Alabama. Now DPC has teamed up with Ken P of Trunkbangaz Ent, aka”DaSupaProducer” to record his Debut EP. With the powerhouse producing skills of Ken P., DPC just recently inked a deal DiamondDigital/Trunkbangaz for the upcoming release of “She Bad” Remix (featuring Woodoe). This new release is set for February 2012. It gives a sample of what’s to come on DPC upcoming EP. Fans can look forward to an EP stacked with hit songs that link together melodies on the piano created for club banging and love making. Humility is what’s offered from DPC. And after you hear his music, you will also know why his motto is “Imma Take You To My Promised Land”!
