Nas takes us on a train ride with one of the first people who help start his career, calling on the legendary Large Professor to add some vocals on “Loco-Motive,” the gritty new song off Life Is Good due July 17. Listen up folks, this is classic boom-bap rap produced by No I.D.

MissInfo: YES! I love this song! In fact…at the Life is Good listening party that Nas had at the New Museum last month, this was the song I zoned out on the most I think. Maybe because played at very high decibels (lol) it reminded me of that classic “The Genesis” interlude on Illmatic. Which Large Pro also had quite a hand in. The circle of life. But yeah, I love the energy of this song and obviously, “stuck in the 90’s” is all good with me too. The song was originally called “The Train” but my Def Jam peoples tell me it’s been changed to it’s current title. Check it out…and tell me what you think.

NaS and Large Pro back at it on “Loco-Motive” after the jump…..
